About This Role

Equifax India is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Software Engineer - Intermediate specializing in Java and Full-Stack development. This position involves working on scalable, cloud-based applications and integrating modern backend and frontend technologies. If you enjoy solving complex problems and collaborating in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy applications with high scalability and operational reliability.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and production issues.
  • Participate in architecture and roadmap discussions for enterprise projects.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams and integrate systems using modern microservices architecture.
  • Implement secure, cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Work on both backend services and frontend UI development, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and sprint planning.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript programming languages.
  • Proficiency with tools like Maven, Gradle, and version control systems (Git/SVN).
  • Solid knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience working with backend frameworks like Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP).
  • Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a must.

Desirable Skills

  • Automated testing experience using JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, or SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage deliverables independently.
