GeeksforGeeks is looking for passionate Software Development Interns to join our team in Noida. We're offering two exciting internship roles for frontend and backend developers to work on our cutting-edge platforms.

Role 1: SDE Frontend Intern

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Add and improve functionalities across various GeeksforGeeks domains
  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across devices
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of React.js and JavaScript
  • Experience in Web development (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/SQL)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Creativity and critical thinking for feature implementation
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated to explore new topics independently

Role 2: SDE Backend Intern

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Add and improve functionalities across various GeeksforGeeks domains
  • Develop REST APIs for backend services (Authentication, Authorization, etc.)

Desired Skills:

  • Good knowledge of Django framework
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Experience in basic Web development (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/SQL)
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL RDBMS
  • Knowledge of Amazon AWS and cloud services
  • Experience in Backend development with Django
  • Familiarity with connecting web apps to back-end services via RESTful APIs
  • Strong OOP knowledge and design principles
  • Creative problem-solving for feature implementation
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Adaptability in fast-changing environments
  • Self-driven learning attitude
