What You’ll Do
As a Software Engineer I, you’ll join Tower’s Post-Trade Platform team, responsible for developing and optimizing critical trading infrastructure. Your responsibilities include:
1. Post-Trade Platform Development
Build and enhance trade reconciliation, P&L tracking, and compliance tools
Develop scalable, high-performance back-office applications
Work on reference data management, trade surveillance, and regulatory reporting
2. Collaboration & Innovation
Partner with trading, quant, and compliance teams to design efficient workflows
Contribute to next-gen middle-office & back-office systems
Optimize trade cost analysis and risk management tools
3. Technical Problem-Solving
Design reliable, low-latency solutions for real-time trading data
Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
Develop Python & Java-based automation tools
Who Should Apply?
Qualifications & Skills
✔ Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science (or related field)
✔ 0-3 years of software development experience
✔ Strong programming skills in Python & Java
✔ Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
✔ Problem-solving mindset – ability to debug complex systems
✔ Interest in finance/trading (prior experience is a plus)
Nice-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of financial instruments (stocks, futures, options, FX, crypto)
Experience with distributed systems or high-performance computing
Understanding of regulatory compliance in trading
